Theater Experience
Stage Management and Directing
From 2017 to 2021, theater played a significant role in my life, with a particular focus on stage management. During this time, I earned several awards recognizing my dedication and contributions. While I am no longer directly involved in theater, the skills I developed—organization, team leadership, adaptability, and the ability to perform under pressure—continue to shape my work ethic and have become invaluable in my professional career.

I was nominated in the 2021 STANJ Awards in the "Stage Management" category for my efforts in my high school production of Clue. This production was particularly challenging because it was during Covid-19 and my school had placed many restrictions on the theater and rehearsal process. The show was entirely performed and recorded over Zoom, later it was edited and live-streamed to audiences.
After several rounds of interviews I was awarded 1st place in the state for Stage-management through STANJ as well as that years recipient of the New Jersey's Annual Governor's Award In Arts Education.

"This show was unlike anything I have ever done before [because] it was completely online. It was a huge challenge," said Haley, who served as both stage manager and assistant director. "But as a stage manager, it was my responsibility to continue to adapt to whatever was thrown our way. I am really proud of the show we put together despite all the circumstances." - Trinity Hall, NJ, 2021
"'She really embraced the virtual format, and her role in the production was more important than ever," explained Mrs. Phillips. 'She paid close attention to every detail. It really was a chance for her to shine, and I wanted to make sure we took every step possible to recognize her hard work and ingenuity.'" - Trinity Hall, NJ, 2021

Above articles show how I used leadership and perseverance to bring theater to my high school despite Covid-19 restrictions.
Metro Scholar at Two River Theater, NJ
In 2019 I was selected for the year long, competitive Metro Scholar internship program at Two River Theater, one of the top regional theaters in the US. During this time I served as an Education Intern and Development Intern.
